I am engineer of tropical agriculture and additionally earned a degree in environment and sustainable development (MSc) from
University College London. The dissertations with which I concluded my degrees both dealt with water management - sustainable drinking water management examined in a beach town hit by the Tsunami
2004 in Southern India and the politics of international rivers examined through publications about the case of Euphrates and Tigris, informed by the interstate management of many other
international rivers. Both works are accessible in the downloads.
With this homepage I intend to construct a database of water policies adopted on country level, technologies
used in the major sectors and projects of different scales of an apparent progressive character. I will furthermore investigate via primary data collection the effects and effectiveness of
policies and incentives at selected water hot spots and thereby bring the database to life.
Sincerely yours,
Veronika Wesselowsky
